I had dinner this evening with some of my most favourite people in the world. My friend Jeff was in town this weekend and staying at his sister's place, the lovely Amy. I got the full on treatment as soon as I walked in the door at her place. Jeff fixed up my hair, Andrew made the juiciest steak ever, Amy made her mom's delicious potato specialty and Michelle just had me laughing the entire time (I love people like that, they are like having your own personal anti-depressant).
I love the comfort that goes with hanging out with people you know so well that you don't even have to say a word. You just sit back and enjoy being there with them. Throw in a fabulous meal and you've got the definition of my perfect evening.
